The pandemic has restricted my movement and prevented me from visiting places and people I usually photograph. However it led to explorations of my surroundings. In between the alienation and loss of trust, I discovered a world in which traces and signs abound without fully disclosing their meaning or history. I turned to objects that were mysterious, sinister, uplifting or simply bizarre. Uncertain places in uncertain times.
